Mystic Realms is an exploration of tilt-shift photography, where I play on the line between truth and fiction in attempt to evoke a sense of wonder and intrigue in the viewer.

A sense of place

Sculpted Skylines is a photography exploration into the heart of Singapore, the Central Business District (CBD).

Virtual Chinatown

AI Generative Photography

Virtual Chinatown is a generative AI project involving the use of Midjourney to create a photographic exploration of Singapore. This project simulates the past, present and future streets and shophouses of Chinatown using photographs taken by myself around the Chinatown area.

Reflection

This project has been a deeply personal journey of discovering the hidden stories and quiet moments that often go unnoticed in Singapore’s bustling urban landscape. It pushed me to slow down, look closer, and appreciate the beauty in the fleeting and the overlooked. Along the way, I faced challenges that tested my patience and adaptability, but these moments also shaped my perspective and strengthened my connection to the craft. Each photograph feels like a piece of that journey, capturing not just the essence of a place, but also my growth as a storyteller and observer of the world around me.
